Redefining Farm Forestry

The Farm Forestry Support Project operated from 2000 to 2008, and was implemented by Intercooperation Pakistan with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC. It worked with partner NGOs in Kurram Agency and the districts of Karak and Haripur.

The experiences of the Farm Forestry Support Project in Pakistan were gathered in a publication and represent a wealth of knowledge that are of value to other development practitioners in Pakistan and beyond. 

The publication contains the experience extracted from nine major topics : amongst which farm forestry, value chains, human institutional development and conflict management.

This publication was produced during a Writeshop, involving 14 authors supported by artists, editors and desktop publishers, who were closeted during five days in the hill resort of Nathiagali and managed to finalize the full final text by the end of the fifth day!
