Human Rights Based Approach
Human Rights Based Approach is the main pillar of Intercooperation’s Conflict Sensitive Programme Management concept. The four principles of HRBA are embedded in our CSPM:
- Equality and non discrimination
- Participation and empowerment
- Accountability and rule of law
- Indivisibility and universality
HRBA promotes equitable development, inclusion of all – but not excluding reaching out to marginalized (e.g. women, poor, remotely located people). It promotes concept of duty bearers and right holders.
